This second edition featured nine teams, the eight WBBL sides plus the ACT Meteors, giving players valuable match time before the Women’s Big Bash League. T20 Spring Challenge Format Explained

The T20 Spring Challenge has a pretty simple format, where each of the nine teams will play four other teams in the group stage. 

Out of those nine teams, the top four teams that perform the best will advance to the semi-finals, which will then ultimately lead to the final.

The first ball got bowled on October 21, and the tournament ran through to the final on October 30. Both semi-finals happened on October 29, before the big decider the next day.

Sydney plays host to the entire carnival over these 10 days. Twenty-one matches will be spread across four venues.

Those four venues are North Sydney Oval, Cricket Central, Blacktown International Sports Park, and Drummoyne Oval. Expect plenty of double-headers throughout the tournament.
