Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli Claim Top Spots in ICC ODI Rankings

After Virat Kohli’s recent performance in the ODI series against South Africa, the ICC has moved him up from 4th to 2nd place, while his teammate Rohit Sharma still holds the 1st spot in the ICC ODI rankings. With 773 points, Kohli is just eight points behind Rohit Sharma in the rankings.

Both of these batters, who were previously questioned about their form and availability for the 2027 ODI World Cup, have answered their critics. While Rohit batted amazingly in the three-match ODI series against Australia, scoring 202 runs with an average of 101, Virat, on the other hand, is said to be the man on a mission, scoring quick runs with 2 centuries in his name, sealing the three-match ODI series against South Africa 2-1, which helped him gain this second spot in ODI rankings.
