How The Points Table Works 

Here is the simple breakdown of how teams will get the points throughout the tournament:

  • Each team will get 2 points by winning the match.
  • There will be no point in the loss. 
  • In the event of a tie or an abandoned match, both teams will share 1 point each. 
  • If teams have the same points, the team with the higher NRR will rank higher than the team with the lower NRR. 

Format of ICC Women’s World Cup 2025

The ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 follows a round-robin format, where each team will play seven matches against all other teams once. 

After the conclusion of the group stage, the top 4 teams of the table will advance to the semi-finals. The winners of both semi-finals will face each other in the final to decide the world champion.
