At just 13 years old, he was signed by the Rajasthan Royals during the IPL 2025 Mega Auction, a move that captured the attention of cricket enthusiasts worldwide.  Since his IPL debut, he has scored the 2nd fastest IPL century by balls in 35 balls making him one of the emerging players in IPL 2025.

Additionally, He made headlines with a 58-ball century during his debut for the India Under-19 team in a youth Test match against Australia, setting a record as the fastest century by an Indian in Under-19 cricket.

2. Prayas Ray Barman – 16 years, 152 days

Prayas Ray Barman holds the distinction of being one of the youngest players to debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL). At just 16 years and 157 days old, he made his IPL debut in 2019 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against Sunrisers Hyderabad. 

Signed for ₹1.5 crore, his debut match saw him contribute 19 runs with the bat and bowl four overs, though he conceded 56 runs. 3. Mujeeb Ur Rahman – 17 years, 11 days

Mujeeb Ur Rahman made history as one of the youngest players to debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL). At just 17 years and 11 days old, he played for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) during the 2018 season. 

The Afghan spinner impressed everyone with his spin and variations, taking 14 wickets in 11 matches in his debut season. His economy rate and ability to outfox batsmen made him a standout performer.

Sarfaraz Khan made his debut as one of the youngest players in IPL history, debuting at just 17 years and 177 days old. He played his first match for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2015 season. 

Sarfaraz gained attention with an unbeaten 21-ball 45 against the Rajasthan Royals. Over the years, he has also represented Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) and Delhi Capitals in the IPL.

6. Pradeep Sangwan – 17 years, 179 days

Pradeep Sangwan made his IPL debut at the age of 17 years and 179 days, becoming one of the youngest players in the league’s history. 

He played for the Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) during the inaugural IPL season in 2008. Known for his left-arm fast-medium bowling, Sangwan with his the ability to deliver crucial breakthroughs. 

Before his IPL stint, he was instrumental in India’s victory at the 2008 Under-19 World Cup, led by Virat Kohli, where he showcased his talent with a five-wicket haul against South Africa.

Washington Sundar made his IPL debut at the age of 17 years and 199 days, playing for the Rising Pune Supergiants in the 2017 season. Known for his all-around abilities, Sundar impressed with his bowling, taking 8 wickets in 11 matches during his debut season.
