The Duleep Trophy 2025 is set to begin on 28th August, marking the start of another exciting season of domestic red-ball cricket in India. The tournament will follow a knockout format, with top regional teams competing for the prestigious title.

South Zone and West Zone have already secured direct entry into the semi-finals, thanks to their appearance in the final of the previous edition. The remaining two semi-final spots will be decided through quarter-final matches, where the other competing zones will battle it out for a place in the next stage.

The squads are selected by the Indian national selectors and made a part of the domestic cricket season in India by the BCCI in June 2025.

Duleep Trophy 2025 – Fixtures

The tournament will start on 28th August, when both quarter finals are scheduled. Semi-final matches are placed on 4th September, and all matches are hosted by the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground in Bengaluru.

Duleep Trophy – Past 5 Season Winners

Over the last five completed seasons of the Duleep Trophy, the winners were: India Blue (2018–19), India Red (2019–20), West Zone (2022–23), South Zone (2023), and India A (2024–25).

The tournament was not held in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. Initially played between India Red, Blue, and Green, the format later shifted to zonal teams, and then to four squads named India A, B, C, and D.
