India Squad Announced For West Indies Test Series 2025

September 25, 2025

The BCCI has announced Team India’s 15-man squad for the upcoming Test Series against West Indies. The two-Test match series will begin on 2nd October at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The highlight of the recent squad announcement is that Karun Nair, who received an opportunity in England earlier this year, has been dropped after a poor run of form. There is still no place for Sarfaraz Khan in the test squad again.

The Chairman of Selectors, Ajit Agarkar, had some words for Karun Nair. “We expected more from Karun. It can’t be just one innings, Padikkal offers more,”  Agarkar said.

Devdutt Padikkal found a way to break into the squad, and Tamil Nadu wicket-keeper batter N Jagadeesan was also made to the final team.
